Job Title: Industrial Investment Pilot

Safran Aircraft Engines is in search of an Industrial Investment Pilot to become a part of the Industrial Excellence Center for Rotating Parts. In this position, you will report directly to the Investment IBIP Pole Manager. Your primary duty will be to guide a project team in the deployment of industrial production apparatus.

  • Lead a diverse project team, incorporating essential roles such as maintenance, civil engineering, energy, production methodologies, and workshop operations.
  • Conduct preliminary studies to outline investment requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and relevant support functions to finalize investment pre-definitions.
  • Prepare the Investment Authorization Form, taking into account budgetary constraints, timelines, technical specifications, maintenance needs, training, health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and installation processes.
  • Oversee the development and documentation of specifications.
  • Manage the procurement phase in partnership with Safran Purchasing and prepare the Comparative Offer Table.
  • Co-facilitate the Supplier Selection Committee meeting alongside the buyer.
  • Supervise the ordering process.
  • Monitor the design and validation stages of studies.
  • Track the manufacturing phase of the investment, ensuring collaboration with suppliers and the Safran project team.
  • Lead the installation, qualification, and verification site activities to ensure adherence to health and safety standards and coordination with related projects.
  • Organize, manage, and participate in the reception of equipment (preliminary, provisional, and final).
  • Validate and execute various payment milestones.
  • Oversee the warranty period in conjunction with maintenance teams.
  • Conduct project evaluations and feedback sessions.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or a technician with substantial experience in the industrial sector) is required, along with expertise in project management, effective communication, negotiation skills, and proficiency in English. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and a strong drive for multidisciplinary challenges. Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities to guide project teams, and a solid understanding of industrial production equipment are essential. Experience in maintenance or production sectors is a plus.

Job Specifics:

This role requires mobility across various Safran Aircraft Engines locations. Availability for assignments (travel within the country or internationally to receive and commission production equipment) is necessary. The position is primarily cross-functional, based at the Gennevilliers site, with occasional responsibilities at other domestic and international sites.
