Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to play a pivotal role in upholding the quality and performance standards of our organization's software applications.

Your responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive design, execution, and analysis of performance tests, working in close collaboration with both development and infrastructure teams to ensure the seamless and optimal performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Test Design:
    • Develop meticulously detailed performance test plans tailored to specific application requirements.
    • Engineer test scenarios that authentically replicate real-world usage loads.
  • Test Execution:
    • Implement and execute both automated and manual performance tests with precision.
    • Analyze test results discerningly, identifying bottlenecks and areas primed for improvement.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Engage in collaborative efforts with development teams to rectify identified performance issues.
    • Propose innovative optimization solutions to augment the efficiency of our applications.
  • Continuous Monitoring:
    • Institute advanced monitoring tools to track real-time performance metrics.
    • Establish proactive alert systems to promptly identify potential issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Craft comprehensive reports articulating the nuances of performance test results.
    • Document and disseminate best practices in the realm of performance testing.
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a seasoned Performance Test Engineer, boasting at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Expert proficiency in utilizing performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, among others.
  • Profound understanding of communication protocols, databases, and operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing intricate test scenarios tailored for complex web applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in performance analysis and adeptness in swiftly resolving complex problems.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for optimizing application performance.
  • Outstanding communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
