Lab Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lab Manager to join our team at the Institut Curie Research Centre. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, as well as providing administrative support to our researchers.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and maintain laboratory workspaces, including offices, workbenches, fridges, and freezers.
- Communicate effectively with team members to pass on information and collect/report any issues.
- Contribute to the implementation of our quality approach and health and safety policy.
- Manage stocks of common consumables, including ordering and supervising shop orders.
- Participate in efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and pool reagents.
- Organize maintenance schedules for common areas and other collective tasks.
- Contact technical departments and health and safety department for requests for work.
- Manage shared equipment and relations with external suppliers.
- Participate in the 'living together' of the unit, including welcoming new arrivals and managing departures.
- Proficiency in office and collaborative software, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards in research laboratories.
- Experience working in a research laboratory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- English level B1 minimum.
- Organizational and methodological skills.
- Autonomy and responsiveness, time management, and sense of priorities.
- Thoroughness, discretion, and respect for confidentiality, as well as teamwork skills.
- Full-time contract for 3 years.
- Salary in accordance with current pay scales.
- Collective catering, 70% reimbursement of annual travel expenses, and company health insurance scheme.
- Job location: Paris.
