R&D Process Engineer Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our R&D team at Syensqo. As an R&D Process Engineer intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of new products for Home and Care applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive literature review on the involved chemistry, phase equilibrium, and impurity formation in fatty acid mixtures.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D process engineer and technician to define the experimental plan at lab scale for characterization of reaction, purification, and recyclability.
  • Perform experiments with a good degree of independence.
  • Analyze product quality obtained by GC and HPLC analysis.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in chemical or process engineering.
  • Solid knowledge of chemical kinetics and thermodynamics.
  • Ability to perform experimental work with a research attitude.
  • Strong HSE culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French is required, and English is a plus.
  • Open-mindedness and collaborative mindset.
  • Proactivity, dynamic mindset, curiosity, and creativity.
