Role Overview

As a Financial Accountant at Dassault Systèmes, you will be responsible for supporting general ledger accounting activities, including journal preparation and account reconciliations for Asia-based businesses in our Shared Service Center Asia. You will also process accounting data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and financial reporting to local country and HQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger activities
  • Process accounting data for financial closings and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, IFRS, and statutory accounting principles
  • Support audit processes, including preparation and review for statutory, internal, and other audit purposes
  • Manage and accomplish continuous improvement projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Suitably tertiary qualified in accounting, with degree or professional accounting certification
  • At least 5-7 years working experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Working knowledge and experience of using ERP systems is critical
  • Highly self-motivated with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills
  • Fluency in English essential, and knowledge of other languages (Japanese, Korean) is a plus
