About the Role

Stellantis is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Metallurgical Expertise Technician within our Engineering department. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop new processes for analyzing battery cells and contribute to critical expertises and failure analyses.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples for analysis using established procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive metallographic examinations to identify material properties and defects.
  • Analyze failures in battery cells, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all experiments and findings, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of materials science principles, heat treatments, and metallographic analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
