About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team at Assystem. As a key member of our Defence Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, including resource allocation and tracking progress.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and approve subcontractor programs, and ensure that all work is completed to the required standard.
  • Produce regular project reports, including critical path analysis and metrics, to inform stakeholders and drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and implement project plans, and to ensure that all project objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project planning and coordination, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. APM) would be beneficial.
