Overview of the Position
As a Senior Account Manager , you will oversee the implementation of social media marketing initiatives and various projects for one of our prestigious clients in the entertainment sector. This role requires close collaboration with diverse teams to establish efficient processes and deliver exceptional marketing campaigns for films and television series through meticulously managed projects that are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable professional who seizes new opportunities, possessing a natural talent for teamwork, problem-solving, and relationship management. You should be well-versed in digital platforms with substantial experience in social media within a dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily oversight of client accounts, cross-functional teams, and assigned projects (including social media platforms and marketing campaigns for series and films) by directing the operational execution of strategic plans.
- Leading the development of pitches and responses to briefs: managing internal and partner briefings, providing strategic insights, crafting creative proposals, preparing budgets, planning timelines, creating presentations, and presenting to clients, while supervising the data team on extensive reporting. Ensuring the quality and precision of our services and deliverables.
- Serving as the principal point of contact for clients, fostering a trustworthy and robust relationship, and advising them on their internal processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Staying deeply engaged in the entertainment industry, formulating recommendations and commercial proposals in collaboration with strategic, creative, and production teams.
- Proactively presenting ideas to clients, aiming to enhance value for them and generate new business opportunities for the agency.
- Accountable for meeting the gross margin targets established by the client or the agency (figures communicated by agency management).
- Ensuring the financial success of our projects.
- Retaining clients and driving business growth.
- Preparing estimates and ensuring accurate billing and financial oversight.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a project management capacity, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (such as creatives, art directors, producers, strategic planners, etc.) and clients.
- Proficient in social media with a solid understanding of performance metrics.
- Strong skills in project timeline development and management.
- Ability to manage client relationships and multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and comfort in a fast-paced environment, adept at navigating uncertainty and prioritizing tasks as necessary.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French, with very good proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience in a social agency is advantageous.
