Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing software protocols on NXP Wireless platforms, based on ARM-Cortex M and RISC-V microcontrollers.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop software modules, including architecture, design, code, unitary tests, integration, customer support, and maintenance.
- Focus on the lower layers of the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol, involving real-time constraints and interface with hardware.
- Participate in the localization domain based on Bluetooth Low Energy Standard (6.0), including Channel Sounding feature.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge in software engineering processes and full software development lifecycle.
- Strong Embedded Firmware skills and experience.
- Strong knowledge in real-time systems and RTOS.
- Strong C programming skills in embedded system environment.
- Strong knowledge in microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
- Very good knowledge in Networking Protocols (IP, UDP, TCP) and Wireless Communications (Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, ZigBee).
- Experience in driver level programming.
- Knowledge in Mixed-signal PCB design.
- Knowledge in signal processing algorithms and Matlab.
- Very good English verbal and written communication skills.
