Become a Vital Part of Railway Infrastructure Maintenance
SNCF is seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team of railway equipment maintenance specialists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our extensive railway network.
Your Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review maintenance guidelines and conduct comprehensive assessments of component condition before commencing any work.
- Execute meticulous maintenance and repair operations, including welding on diverse materials, while adhering to stringent quality control standards.
- Work diligently to meet established maintenance deadlines while upholding the highest safety and quality protocols.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in related fields such as Carpentry, Metal Fabrication, Welding, Mechanics, or Structural Engineering. A strong foundation in mechanical principles, welding techniques, and machining processes is essential. The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as meticulous attention to detail, self-sufficiency, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.
Work Environment:
This position involves working collaboratively within a team environment at our dedicated maintenance facilities. You will be required to work both indoors and outdoors, adhering to mandatory safety protocols and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Shift Pattern:
Our operation requires flexibility, and you will be expected to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous maintenance coverage.
