The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Expert to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, installing, optimizing, and supporting databases within our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop databases for our projects, working closely with architecture teams.
  • Install, configure, and optimize databases, including associated options and backup/restore solutions.
  • Conduct version migrations of DBMS and other actions requiring deep expertise.
  • Provide technical support for projects and products, as well as tune database performance.
  • Implement data security measures, including hardening, encryption, and data segregation.
  • Conduct technological surveillance on DBMS to anticipate changes and explore new solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administration, backup/restore, monitoring, and installation tools, while fostering the Database Technical Expertise Community.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in database administration, particularly Oracle/PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology.
  • Diverse database experiences (development/support/design).
  • Skills to manage databases with significant data volume.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, in addition to English.
