About the Role
Framatome is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Piping Intervention Lead to oversee and manage piping and welding projects at nuclear power plants (CNPE). This role demands a strong understanding of the nuclear environment and a commitment to operational excellence in all aspects of project execution.
Responsibilities- Ensure exceptional performance across all project facets, including quality, safety, security, and adherence to timelines.
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to operational teams comprising team leaders, pipefitters, welders, and mechanical fitters, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Effectively manage the technical and operational aspects of projects, coordinating resources and resolving challenges.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through clear communication, progress updates, logistical coordination, and professional presentations.
- Maintain meticulous documentation practices, ensuring compliance with procedures, work instructions, and tracking documents.
- Collaborate seamlessly with various support functions both on-site and at headquarters, facilitating efficient reporting, resource allocation, and crisis management.
- Proactively identify discrepancies and share valuable lessons learned with headquarters throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive intervention documents.
The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping, Welding, or Materials Science, coupled with relevant experience in nuclear piping/welding. A solid understanding of the nuclear environment (CNPE) and proficiency in standard computer tools are essential.
Welding certifications are mandatory. Exceptional interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership qualities are crucial. The ability to adapt effectively to changing circumstances and solve problems creatively is highly valued.
Candidates must possess no category A and B inaptitude (work involving ionizing radiation).
