About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Fiscal Officer at the Ministère de l'Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique. As a Fiscal Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tax returns and other financial documents.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements and reports to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial services.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as financial accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in taxation or accounting (e.g. CPA, CMA, etc.).
• Experience working in a financial services or tax consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, including tax preparation and accounting software.
