Cloud Native DevOps Engineer for Order Management System
Business Environment
We are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to join our Order division, responsible for the R&D activities related to:
- Order management system (OrMS) - a central module, part of Nevio, the new retailing platform, interacting with retail layers, Offer Management system, Delivery system, Data Hub, and external partners systems.
- Financial revenue accounting (ARA) - the link between the PSS or retailing platform and an airline's financial system.
- Electronic documents, sales, and financial reporting - encompassing E-ticket, EMD storage, and associated use cases.
The Department's mission is to connect development, security, and operational activities supporting the Order domain, fostering transformations linked to operational topics.
As such, it is in charge of:
- DevSecFinOps activities in Order division.
- Stability, Security, and compliance improvements.
- Engineering Experience improvements.
- Major transformations impacting our way of working and the technologies we use.
Your Main Responsibilities
The DevSecOps team is composed of talented people with DevOps, SRE, DBA profiles, working in a dynamic, intercultural, and international environment.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on OrMS, on Cloud Native stacks, focusing on:
- Platform deliveries and setup for our customers.
- Processes improvements through automation.
- Service continuity and compliance.
- Operational maturity of Order Management System (OrMS, part of Nevio).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
- RedHat Openshift or Kubernetes skills.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concept.
- Experience with automation.
- Experience in cloud implementation and/or migration (Azure).
- Proficiency with Git.
- Experience with GitOps deployment practices.
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Experience with Jenkins or other tool providing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with standard solutions for application monitoring and logging.
- Familiar with messaging streams (Kafka) and NoSQL DB (MongoDB) is a plus.
- Strong interest in the DevOps culture.
- Very good level of written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Curious to learn new things every day.
- Autonomy: Learning on the job and exploring with little supervision.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
