Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Serres-Castet, France. As a key member of our Business Unit Système Embarqué, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and pre-dimensioning mechanical equipment for our clients in the defense and aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new product designs and concepts for aerospace and defense applications
- Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary design, and cost estimation
- Choose materials and conduct analysis to ensure optimal performance
- Design and create 3D models and technical drawings
- Contribute to the development of technical proposals and commercial offers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, Inventor, and Autocad
- Strong understanding of energy conversion, power supply, and simulation tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English
