About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Urban Nord unit at Tractebel, a leading international engineering and consulting company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in engineering projects, reviewing execution and synthesis studies, and contributing to cost estimation and scheduling for tender responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in engineering projects, including MOE, AMO, and technical advice during the Design phase
- Review execution and synthesis studies to ensure technical quality and budget compliance
- Participate in on-site monitoring missions to gather data and insights
- Produce methodological and descriptive notes for tender responses
- Contribute to cost estimation and scheduling for tender responses
- Ensure technical quality, budget compliance, and deadlines are met
Requirements:
- Qualified Engineer with 1-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Fluent in English and experienced in geotechnical structures design and calculation
- Knowledgeable in Civil Engineering methods and standards (especially Eurocodes 7)
- Proficient in office software, geotechnical calculation tools, and finite element analysis software
