Senior Accountant/Comptable Unique

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at SBM Offshore. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with French GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Manage and prepare unaudited financial statements for bi-annual bank covenants
- Prepare tax returns and manage tax audits
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in a related environment or an audit firm
- Strong knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Statutory accounting, tax requirements, audit process
- IT tools (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), ERP or SAGE
- Internal control framework
- French and English speaker
