Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capacity Development Specialist to join our team at CIMMYT Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality e-learning content and training programs that support the capacity development needs of our partners and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of e-learning content and training programs that align with CIMMYT's research priorities and capacity development goals.
- Collaborate with CIMMYT researchers and technical partners to co-design capacity development solutions and interventions.
- Plan, develop, and deliver training courses, including instructional design, content creation, and technical management.
- Manage the production, editing, and delivery of e-learning courses, including multimedia and technological support.
- Contribute to the documentation and systematization of capacity development processes and best practices.
- Build engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in capacity development, training, and e-learning content creation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
