About the Role

This role will be the primary customer escalation point for customer programs and quotes managed by Stellantis out of their xPSA French locations. The program scope will primarily include Engineering Services, including OTA and Ignite program activities, with quote pursuit involvement, including but not limited to, new Intelligent Cockpit and Car Audio HARMAN business unit pursuits. The role will be the primary local escalation path for the customer. They will maintain the technical customer relationship and have overall oversight responsibility for the schedule, scope, and budget for all of the customers' Stellantis Paris managed programs.

Your Team

This position will not have any direct reports at this time, however, will be directly interfacing with 3-5 key Intelligent Cockpit Program Managers, Resident Engineers, and Co-op students.

What You Will Do

  • Implement the initial Harman PLM Process into the execution phases.
  • Be responsible for project set-up and deployment readiness.
  • Be responsible for budget planning and forecasting for all active projects.
  • Be responsible for resource forecasting and planning for all active projects.
  • Be the customer Program Management interface, responsible for managing the customer.
  • Build and maintain a customer interface team to support customer relationships and manage the overall program development.
  • Be responsible for evaluation and development of team members' performance.
  • Manage program risk proactively, identify program risks, and coordinate meetings with the PM and multi-discipline functions to address risks before they become issues.
  • Be accountable for ensuring communication of the customer requirements within the organization and interface with multiple groups to ensure the customer's expectations are being met.
  • Provide program status and represent program internally and externally to senior-level executives during program, quality, and operations reviews.
  • Set direction and influence cross-department engagement for program execution and drive synchronization across multiple program teams.

What You Need

  • Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in corporate or academic research; alternatively, Master's Degree in above-mentioned fields and 8 years of experience in research and development or Bachelor's Degree and 12 years' experience.
  • 10-15 years of Program Management, Engineering, Requirements Management, or related background.
  • Broad technical background with general knowledge of Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular technology, smartphones, navigation, GPS, tuner, satellite radio, video, voice recognition, hands-free operation, vehicle bus, advanced safety, cloud-based services, and automotive requirements.
  • Practical experience in related areas such as system design, hardware/software design, and real-time embedded applications.
  • Proven technical leadership within the technology industry or automotive industry.
  • Experience with the use of rapid prototyping tools for software and hardware, electronics, and mechanical design for consumer electronics and future device platforms.
  • Must have a general knowledge of automotive infotainment systems and their applications.
  • Previous experience in all phases of the software development process Requirements, Scope, Design/Plan, Develop, Test, and Customer Acceptance.
  • Must be able to articulate vision and influence decision-making outcomes with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and the customer.
  • Extraordinary oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and technology leaders.
  • Experience managing external and internal vendors/partners.
  • Exceptional reputation as an innovator based on having created forward-looking research, projects, and award-winning publications.
  • Must have a 'whatever-it-takes' attitude using diplomatic leadership skills within a collaborative teamwork environment to accomplish the necessary results.
  • Ability to communicate advanced and complex concepts and ideas persuasively and concisely to all levels of the business.
  • Must have: fluent in French and English.
