Our platform offers the most integrations available on Shopify, enabling quick setup without the need for complicated onboarding processes. Gorgias provides a unified solution for managing all aspects of customer support across various channels.
We can automate up to 60% of a brand's support, allowing agents to concentrate on high-value interactions and increasing sales. Additionally, we provide specialized marketing tools designed to help merchants convert more visitors into customers, thereby boosting their gross merchandise volume (GMV).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop reusable analytics components such as charts, filters, and navigation using TypeScript, React, and related technologies.
- Create core metrics for the platform, focusing on entities like Tickets, Agents, and Customers. Collaborate with the Product team to define optimal visualizations and user experiences that empower our merchants to deliver exceptional customer support.
- Assist other teams in onboarding to our In-App Analytics platform, guiding them in utilizing our platform's capabilities to meet their specific use cases.
- Produce essential documentation, UI-Kit, and Storybook resources to facilitate the onboarding process for other teams.
- Identify recurring patterns across different squads and consider integrating them into the platform to enhance engineering productivity in the realms of Data & Analytics.
- Receive training, support, and mentorship from senior engineers, with opportunities for growth through Frontend Chapter initiatives.
- If you have limited experience with TypeScript, we will introduce you to its type inference and safety features.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- A solid understanding of the front-end stack and its adjacent layers, including knowledge of CDN, Cache, Webpack, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to provide insights on back-end API design and collaborate effectively with the back-end team to achieve a balanced approach that meets both front-end and back-end needs.
- Proficient in coding with best practices in mind, including SOLID principles, abstraction/composition, and React/Redux best practices, while knowing when to adapt these practices for optimal outcomes.
- Experience in creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces using modern CSS, along with a strong understanding of UX design principles and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tools such as react-query, async state management libraries, and SWR is a plus.
