Marine Manager Job Description

The Marine Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of export terminals, adhering to international marine regulations and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing detailed input on terminal design and operability
  • Ensuring compliance with international marine regulations and industry standards
  • Developing functional specifications and contracting for harbor fleet vessels
  • Establishing requirements for marine personnel and training
  • Developing operating procedures and guidelines
  • Providing CAPEX and OPEX estimates for terminal marine operations support
Initial Responsibilities:
  • Serving as a marine operations and safety subject matter expert resource for the Facilities Development Team
  • Developing relationships with PCD, ENH, Port authorities, and local marine authorities
  • Developing marine operations procedures, including channels, maneuvering areas, navigational aids, and under keel clearance requirements
  • Defining the strategy with HQ services/finance/procurement for renting tugs and support vessels
  • Implementing the strategy and ensuring vessels are ready on time for RLFC (Ready for Loading First Cargo)
Requirements:
  • Master Mariner or Chief Engineer license
  • At least 10 years of sea-going experience
  • Five years working on LNG, LPG, or Condensate Vessels
  • Minimum five years working at an LNG terminal
