Position Overview

The Technical Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that thermal insulation and waterproofing products within the SOPREMA portfolio meet all technical standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that products comply with national regulations and current standards, particularly European standards, for market readiness.
  • Acquire, update, and renew all essential technical documentation necessary for product marketing.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge.
  • Act as a representative for SOPREMA in discussions with regulatory bodies, standardization organizations, and industry associations.

Specific Tasks Include:

  • Requesting and securing technical opinions and application documents, as well as conducting new technical investigations and European technical assessments.
  • Coordinating product certifications and approvals with relevant authorities and suppliers.
  • Drafting internal documentation required for product marketing and supporting the marketing team in developing promotional materials.

Involvement in New Product Development:

  • Lead projects within your expertise area to drive innovation.
  • Provide technical insights and support within project teams.
  • Assess market demands in relation to regulatory and technical specifications.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will hold a BAC+5 degree or equivalent from an engineering school, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical roles related to construction material manufacturing, evaluation organizations, or mechanical/thermal engineering firms. Experience in insulation or roofing is preferred.

Required Skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, technical proficiency, project management skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive mindset.
