As part of our harmonization efforts, ENGIE is undertaking a significant program to revamp its processes and IT tools. This multi-year project encompasses all entities within the group and necessitates ongoing support.
We are currently seeking to fill the position of:
SAP Integration Middleware Specialist (M/F)
Location: Remote work options available, with flexibility for international candidates.
The GET program aims to establish a future-ready business and IT core model, utilizing a unified platform comprising one ERP / One ARIBA / One MDG. The program's functional scope includes key areas such as accounting, controlling, and procurement, recently expanded to encompass additional business modules.
This initiative presents a unique opportunity to engage in one of the most ambitious and strategic enterprise transformation programs, characterized by a significant IT footprint, with S/4 and SAP ARIBA as central components. Innovation is central to the GET program, with a focus on implementing best-in-class processes and solutions.
The Middleware Specialist role is essential to strengthening the GET IT Team, specifically within the GET IT OPERATIONS Team, where you will be responsible for the delivery of Middleware services.
This position reports directly to the GET IT Integration Lead and is positioned at N-3 to the GET IT Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Integration Lead to establish and uphold Integration Golden Rules.
- Oversee Middleware service delivery:
- Ensure all requirements from ROLL-OUT, RUN, and SATELLITE teams are accurately captured and consolidated into a unified demand plan.
- Manage the Factory's capacity, adjusting as necessary to meet demand.
- Validate both general and detailed Middleware designs, ensuring adherence to Integration Golden Rules.
- Coordinate with contacts from all satellite systems to develop a cohesive plan.
- Monitor service performance (RUN & BUILD) and ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Note: The Middleware Factory operations are managed by GBS IT, which handles all operational activities.
Position Requirements:
- Expertise in integration architecture and familiarity with at least one integration framework or ESB/BPM product (e.g., TIBCO, SAG, Mulesoft, SAP PO/PI, etc.).
- Extensive experience in large-scale Middleware projects.
- Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in cross-functional management and coordination of large teams.
- Experience in a project management environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong team-oriented mindset.
