We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the VAT division, tasked with managing indirect tax challenges and delivering expert VAT guidance to our operations in Paris.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer specialized technical assistance to your team.
- Ensure the team meets high standards in EU VAT compliance services.
- Facilitate training for both new and existing personnel as directed by Senior Managers.
- Provide technical support for various filings and sales operations.
- Conduct reviews of compliance activities within the team and assess their technical performance.
- Aid in the creation of compliance procedures and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Support the management of complex and significant client accounts.
- Author articles for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain strong tax relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service.
- Develop connections within AVASK ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS CONSULTANTS and with clients, identifying growth opportunities.
- Engage in coaching and mentoring team members actively.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience with EU VAT.
- Proficient communication skills in both French and English.
- Capability to deliver training and presentations to large groups.
- Strong technical expertise.
- Motivated team player.
- Ability to recognize risk areas, conduct thorough reviews, and escalate when necessary.
- Proven track record in analyzing and developing innovative solutions to challenges.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
