Airbus Helicopters is seeking a skilled Surface Treatment Specialist to join our Centre d'Excellence Mécanique in Marignane, France.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to perform surface treatment tasks in accordance with established processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for treatment, applying coatings, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surface treatment operations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare surfaces for treatment, including cleaning and degreasing.
  • Apply coatings and finishes to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of metallurgy, plastics, and other materials used in aeronautics.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including surface preparation and coating application tools.
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation and ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
