About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Automation Specialist to join our team at our Meyzieu site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Diagnose automation problems on our Siemens (S7 300/400) and Moeller automation systems
  • Perform diagnostic tests on variable speed drives and ensure production restart
  • Manage modifications and improvements in accordance with company rules
  • Ensure the startup of new production equipment in collaboration with suppliers
  • Anticipate material obsolescence and propose alternative solutions
  • Perform reprogramming of Staubli robots
  • Serve as the on-site liaison for our industrial IT service for supervision, traceability, and software updates
  • Perform preventive maintenance operations
  • Document interventions according to company rules
  • Anticipate equipment failures by monitoring the equipment park in collaboration with the Production team
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve equipment availability, performance, and quality
  • Train technicians and production staff in your area of expertise
  • Write documentation to capitalize on the team's expertise and help them increase their knowledge
  • Collaborate with the project team for the reception, installation, startup, and stabilization of new equipment
  • Be the point of contact for suppliers

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a higher education degree in industrial maintenance and automation, such as a DUT GEII. You should have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment. You should be familiar with the following automation systems: Siemens S7, Staubli CS7 and CS8 robots, and variable speed drives (Siemens Master Drive, Kollmorgen).
