Groupe Institut de Soudure is seeking a highly skilled Eddy Current Testing Engineer to join our dedicated team of experts. We specialize in providing cutting-edge NDT solutions across diverse industries, including Energy and Petrochemicals, both domestically and internationally.

Your Role: A Blend of Expertise and Innovation

As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of advanced NDT methods. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Analyzing client specifications and providing accurate quotations.
  • Conducting comprehensive studies and on-site inspections utilizing Eddy Current testing techniques (including IRIS and MFL) to evaluate heat exchanger tubes.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Proactively promoting our innovative technologies to clients and within the organization.
  • Ensuring efficient project management, adhering to strict quality standards (QHSE) throughout all phases.

Your Qualifications: A Foundation of Expertise and Passion

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • A solid educational background in NDT or a related engineering field.
  • Extensive experience and proven expertise in Eddy Current testing, particularly as applied to heat exchanger tubes. Relevant certifications are highly valued.
  • In-depth knowledge of inspection procedures and common heat exchanger tube damage mechanisms is a significant asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, coupled with strong analytical abilities.
