We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer - FMEA Moderator to join our team at Valeo. As a key member of our Visibility Systems Pole, you will be responsible for ensuring that our developed products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA): Ensure that developed products meet the FMEA Methods and Tools requirements, facilitate the failure mode and effect analysis on new and existing products, and coordinate the deployment and development of FMEA know-how within the Product Group.
- Project Support: Support the definition of the FMEA budget, lead the associate working group to ensure the success of the FMEA, and ensure that the following points are met: working group formation, technical consistency, achievement of FMEA objectives, reduction of risk to an acceptable level.
- Process Improvement: Coordinate continuous improvement of the FMEA process in regard to Quality / Cost / Delay, and participate in the preparation of decision guidelines/criteria.
- Knowledge Transfer: Act as an interface person to transfer expertise and knowledge between the different development sites, train the Engineering teams in the methods and the specific Tools used for creation of the FMEA, and create reusable FMEA modules aligned with the function and Element standardisation.
- Education: Engineering degree with a specialization in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or physics.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive systems, ideally for embedded solutions.
- Skills: Proven skills in FMEA, familiarity with the development and documentation of failure mode analysis and system architectures, and strong interpersonal skills.
