As a Laboratory Operations Manager, you will be working closely with the Research and Development and Industrialization teams under the supervision of the Director of Technologies. You will be responsible for a team of research and development operations support, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and implementing and enforcing hygiene and safety standards in our laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of technicians and engineers supporting research and development activities. Ensure the efficiency and organization of the support team, including organizing training on common techniques and managing team allocation according to priorities and needs.
- Inventory and Order Management: Manage stocks, centralize orders, and oversee the maintenance of inventory of raw materials, laboratory consumables, and equipment resources.
- Equipment Management: Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and installations, including instrument calibration, service contracts, and repairs.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with current regulations. Ensure that colleagues respect safety and regulatory standards for handling and disposing of waste.
Required Profile:
- Master's degree in a field related to biotechnology.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the operational management of a cell biology, molecular biology, genomics, or similar laboratory.
- Proactivity, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
