Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Endpoint Security Solutions Architect to contribute to our mission of enhancing organizational security. This pivotal role involves the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive endpoint security strategies aimed at safeguarding our network and data against advanced threats. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of endpoint security technologies, the evolving threat landscape, and best practices in endpoint protection and response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Security Strategy: Formulate and uphold a robust endpoint security strategy that aligns with our security policies and compliance standards. This encompasses establishing benchmarks for endpoint protection, detection, and response.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy endpoint security solutions throughout the organization, including antivirus, anti-malware, endpoint management solutions (such as Intune and Tanium), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Policy and Configuration Management: Develop and oversee security policies and configurations for endpoint devices, ensuring effective application to maintain security posture and compliance.
- Threat Detection and Response: Monitor endpoint security tools for indications of malicious activity. Lead incident response initiatives for endpoint-related security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of endpoint devices and collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely patching and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Security Awareness and Training: Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on endpoint security best practices and threat awareness, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate closely with other cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a unified security strategy. Prepare and present reports on endpoint security posture, incidents, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on endpoint security architecture and engineering.
- Comprehensive knowledge of endpoint security technologies (antivirus, anti-malware, EDR, Microsoft Intune, Tanium) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS).
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and vulnerability management tools.
- Solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed by threat actors.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex security incidents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across teams and articulating complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
