Job Title: Senior RF Systems Engineer

SCALINX is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in design and marketing of highly-integrated mixed-signal products. We are seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to design and develop RF systems for our mixed-signal products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RF system components, including filters, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, radio calibration algorithms, and high-speed data converters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF systems for our mixed-signal products
  • Collaborate with analog mixed-signals (AMS) design and digital engineers to ensure RF systems are correctly implemented and optimized for power, noise, and linearity
  • Provide block level specifications and/or digital vectors to circuit designers
  • Conduct system validation and troubleshooting in lab environments using advanced test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system design reports, test plans, and validation procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Experience in RF system simulation and integration into digital and analog for SoCs
  • Strong understanding of RF system components, including filters, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, radio calibration algorithms, and high-speed data converters
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurement tools and techniques, including EVM, noise figure, and phase noise testing
  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles and experience working with wireless communication standards such as 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, or satellite communication systems
