Telecommunications Technician

Job Summary

EQUANS France is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a key member of our deployment team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications networks, including fiber optic and copper infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze intervention dossiers, including SAV and production requirements
• Determine the necessary materials for each intervention, ensuring a minimum stock of materials in your vehicle
• Trip and/or replace cables, ensuring safe working conditions on the road
• Locate and repair electrical faults, using measurement equipment as needed
• Diagnose, test, and repair lines
• Perform tests and control via electrical equipment
• Close interventions, reporting daily activity to your supervisor (dossiers d'attachements or via the PRAXEDO application)
• Ensure the correct execution of tasks and the functioning of client lines, using tests, measurements, and inspections
• Establish associated activity codes for billing
• Report any issues to your supervisor and work together to find a suitable solution

Requirements

• Preparation for a telecommunications career through an apprenticeship
• Interest in technical work
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
• Organizational and rigorous skills
• No vertigo (work in a nacelle) and preference for outdoor work
