Aircraft Production Inspector

At Lufthansa Technik AG, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Production Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality inspections during the assembly and delivery process of aircraft, adhering to strict procedures and protocols.
- Assist the customer acceptance team during the technical aircraft delivery process, participating in acceptance flights and advising customers on technical issues.
- Document findings and report to clients in written form, providing detailed information on the status of the assembly process.
- Evaluate the consequences of non-conformities during production and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Check all necessary documents for production and acceptance, performing zonal inspections, ground checks, and check-and-acceptance flights.
- Administer delegated responsibilities and act in the best interest of clients.
- Negotiate with aircraft manufacturers to guarantee customer interests for all relevant technical aspects.
- Perform non-routine activities as required.
- Trained technician or master technician with at least 10 years of experience in line or base maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced communication skills in English.
- A320/A330/A350 (ATR) B1 or B2 license and troubleshooting experience.
- General knowledge of aircraft production and assembly procedures, as well as manufacturing components.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of repair concepts, including repair station processes, component repair concepts, and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing specifications of international air law.
- Basic skills in using Microsoft Office products.
- Physical fitness to attend acceptance flights and enter confined spaces in aircraft.
- Team leading experience.
- Willingness to travel frequently for duty trips.
* Must possess a legal work permit in France.
