Electrification Systems Engineer

We are seeking an Electrification Systems Engineer to join our team at Garrett - Advancing Motion. As an individual contributor in the Electrification Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of System processes in accordance with automotive standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis on electronics, motor controls, embedded SW or electromagnetic. They will also have 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, including hardware and software development, as well as product launch experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of System processes in accordance with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO21434)
- Be the technical point of contact to the customer and customer teams
- Elicit and analyze Stakeholder Requirements
- Author System requirements for our electric products that satisfy Stakeholder requirements
- Support the development of the System Architecture for our electrical products
- Work with Functional Safety Team to develop System level work products according to ISO 26262 for applicable products
- Support the analysis of System. Working with the Quality, Functional Safety, Design teams Support the development of the integration and validation plans
- Author User Guides for our products to provide to internal and external customers
- Manage technical issues and coordinate through definition of problem statement, root-cause analysis. And solution implementation with customer and all cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high speed motors and/or powertrain applications
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering
- Understanding of Automotive standards
- ISO 26262 Functional safety
- Understanding of project management
