Vinted Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Tax Lead to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Accounting tax function, ensuring accurate and efficient operation, and nurturing the personal and professional development of team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 2 tax specialists
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation of direct/indirect taxes
- Manage/Work in cooperation with external tax service provider
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance
- Oversee accounting data quality and ensure controls related to tax accounting
- Ensure effective team KPIs are set, plan resources according to increasing volumes, and effectively coordinate workload and tasks
- Together with the Director of Group Accounting, work on preparing a strategic plan for Tax Accounting operations, development, and process improvements
- Lead process efficiency, automation, improvements, and participate in projects
- Communicate with external stakeholders for ad hoc queries requiring a higher level of diplomacy and problem-solving skills
- Higher degree in accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of similar position experience
- Good knowledge of tax treatment according to tax laws (VAT, corporate income tax)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good technical skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
- Curious to work in a dynamic environment
- Hybrid work model with 2 days in office recommended
