**Job Summary**

The Radioprotection Specialist is a key role at the CENTRE HOSPITALIER HENRI DUNANT, responsible for managing radiation protection tasks. As a designated Personne Compétente en Radioprotection (PCR), the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling of radiation sources and implementing measures to minimize exposure to ionizing radiation.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement radiation protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement dosimetry programs to monitor and reduce radiation exposure.
  • Establish and maintain a system for tracking and recording radiation exposure levels for personnel.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions for staff on radiation safety procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans in the event of a radiation incident.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure that radiation safety equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Develop and implement a system for tracking and recording radiation waste and ensuring its safe disposal.
  • Conduct regular reviews of radiation safety procedures and protocols to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that radiation safety procedures are integrated into the overall quality management system.
