We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our PayFit España team. Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and refine testing strategy by collaborating closely with low-code builders, engineers, and compliance team members.
- Develop effective tooling by working alongside engineering teams to create and maintain a suite of tools that supports our testing strategy.
- Optimize team practices by continuously monitoring team practices to identify areas for improvement, focusing on enhancing quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Promote testing methodologies by advocating for and educating teams on testing methodologies such as BDD, TDD, and others.
- Participate in incident management by engaging in the incident management process to identify quality-related issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Support test plan development by assisting teams in defining comprehensive test plans for the development or update of critical features.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of practical experience in the field.
- ISTQB Certification (or similar certification like CSQA, CTAL, CAT).
- Solid understanding of software fundamentals (Data Structures, Software Architecture, Design Patterns).
- Experience in software development, specifically in cloud architectures, systems design, and distributed systems.
- Solid experience with an E2E automation library like Playwright or Cypress.
- Ability to understand, synthesize, and communicate complex technical concepts and business problems.
- Team player who is receptive to feedback, to be mentored and to mentor others.
- Fluent English speaker and willingness to work in an international and dynamic environment.
