Device Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Device Engineer to join our Wafer Foundry R&D Group in Rousset, France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for technology transfer, enhancement, and development projects in internal and foundry wafer FABs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Design Fab and Product Engineering to enhance yield, circuit, and device optimization.
  • Design and run experiments to achieve optimum semiconductor device performance.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues with devices and processes.
  • Conduct reliability tests on devices and work with failure analysis groups to quickly isolate problems and implement corrections.
  • Present data, results, and conclusions to the technical team.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Semiconductor Device Physics.
  • Good understanding of device characterization and modeling/verification.
  • Excellent computer-based skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Synopsys simulation tool and Cadence.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Semiconductor Device Physics.
