In July 2023, EPSM Sarthe joined the European Alliance INVEST– INnoVations for rEgional SusTainability, dedicated to promoting sustainable regional development, innovative teaching methods, and new training initiatives.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to AcceptThe Quality Assurance Specialist for INVEST (M/F) will be an integral member of the European University team, collaborating closely with the Vice-President for INVEST and under the guidance of the INVEST team manager.
The Quality Assurance Specialist for INVEST (M/F) is tasked with supervising the quality assurance framework, evaluating the outcomes and effects of all INVEST initiatives for EPSM Sarthe, in accordance with the responsibilities outlined in WP2 – Quality Assurance, led by the University of Agribusiness and Rural Development (UARD) in Bulgaria.
This role encompasses several key missions, which may adapt based on the alliance's evolving needs:
Mission 1: Oversee all INVEST Work Packages related to quality assurance
- Collaborate with partners to establish performance metrics;
- Engage in the continuous enhancement of the quality assurance policy within the framework of WP2;
- Ensure the integration and standardization of quality benchmarks within the INVEST alliance;
- Contribute to the creation of deliverables associated with the aforementioned tasks in English.
Mission 2: Coordinate EPSM Sarthe's involvement in INVEST quality assurance activities
1. Implement the existing quality assurance policy and standards at EPSM Sarthe
- Deploy quality monitoring instruments for all EPSM Sarthe activities, including risk management and training;
- Facilitate and oversee the quality taskforce at EPSM Sarthe;
- Ensure adherence to additional standards: Service Public +, Qaliopi, HCERES, HRS4R, Welcome to France, DDRS.
2. Provide analytical tools to EPSM Sarthe's internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement analytical and management tools;
- Supply statistics and indicators for INVEST interim and final reports, along with internal university reports;
- Monitor performance metrics for ongoing quality enhancement;
- Track the self-assessment framework in teaching, research, governance, and student life.
Mission 3: Communication, Monitoring, and Awareness
- Engage in national and European quality networks;
- Monitor European policies and guidelines and provide training in this domain;
- Raise awareness within EPSM Sarthe's community regarding quality matters;
- Participate in fairs, forums, and conferences to represent EPSM Sarthe and the INVEST alliance.
Special Constraints
- Regular travel within France and internationally
- May require flexible working hours based on needs
Knowledge
- Master's degree
- Familiarity with the French and European higher education and research landscapes
- Strong understanding of European quality assurance frameworks
- 3 years of experience in quality monitoring is preferred, ideally in a European/international context
- Proficiency in English: B2 level
- Proficiency in French: B2 level
- Project management methodologies
