About the Role

Baker Tilly STREGO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor / Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and reviews, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
  • Manage and supervise a team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored audit solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in audit, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical skills, including audit methodologies, risk assessment, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze complex business issues.
  • Proficiency in audit software and tools, such as Caseware Global Focus, Datasnipper, and Power BI.
