Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software development organization, utilizing modern development practices and the latest technology stack. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Strategy and Metrics

Owning quality strategy and metrics for the products their team is responsible for, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Quality Metrics Definition and Tracking

Defining and tracking quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of the QA processes, providing insights for process improvements.

Quality Metrics Monitoring and Reporting

Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on quality metrics, ensuring timely and accurate data for stakeholders.

Product Requirements Understanding

Working with the product owner and stakeholders to understand product requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs.

User Story Analysis and Improvement

Actively analyzing and improving user stories, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements, Design, Usability, and Testing Input

Providing input on requirements, design, usability, and testing during user story grooming, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product needs.

Test Approach Development

Building a test approach inside the system in cooperation with the development team and other QA Engineers, ensuring a robust testing strategy.

Test Planning and Scenarios

Preparing test plans and test scenarios, ensuring thorough testing of products.

Automated Testing

Designing, building, and maintaining automated tests, ensuring efficient and effective testing.

Performance, Load, and Stress Testing

Conducting performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the software can handle expected performance criteria, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Process and System Improvements

Suggesting technical alternatives and improving/streamlining processes and systems, ensuring continuous improvement.

QA Engineer Mentoring

Working with and mentoring QA engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.

Qualifications

  1. Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

Skills

Hands-on experience in business acceptance testing, API testing, functional testing, non-regression testing, proficient in automation testing, strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes, and experience with QA tools such as TestComplete, Cypress, Selenium.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ecommerce platforms like Magento, experience leading teams.
