About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Shopping Intelligence and Orchestrator (SIO) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our travel technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality of our software products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Test Automation: Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time. Develop and maintain test scripts to ensure seamless integration with our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and fix defects.
  • Quality Assurance Ambassador: Promote quality assurance best practices across the organization. Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Apply technical expertise to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance, with a focus on test management, automation, and defect management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, and SQL. Experience with test management tools and automation frameworks.
  • Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Certifications: ISTQB certification or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
