Warehouse Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Engineering Manager to join our Supply Chain Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engineering solutions that positively impact our international warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analyze operational strategies for various projects within our warehouses, with a focus on Material Handling Equipment solutions.
- Contribute to the analysis of information, drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and evaluation of their effectiveness.
- Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and specify remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with our supplier, specifying requirements, challenging their solutions, and monitoring implementation and aftercare.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.
- Continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
- Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in (Mechanical) Engineering.
- Initial (3+ years) experience in a relevant work setting, e.g., automated e-commerce warehouses or production, or experience in a consultancy role.
- Background as a mechanical engineer is considered an asset.
- Experience with AutoCAD to successfully design systems.
- Good project management skills or ambition to increase responsibility in this role.
- You are an analytical person, conceptually strong and organizationally savvy.
- Willingness to travel (10% of your time - in Europe).
