About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our team at AXA Group Operations. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and code for use with cloud services
  • Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support to local DevOps teams
  • Collaborate with global cloud products teams and support their local use
  • Ensure long-term cooperation on a basis of partnership with internal AXA clients

Requirements

  • University level education in IT or hold a comparable qualification
  • Understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud services provided by AWS
  • Knowledge of PaaS-, IaaS-, and SaaS-solutions, particularly on the basis of the AWS product portfolio
  • Basic knowledge of AWS and their RDS, S3, KMS, Elastic Search, and EC2 environment
  • Good knowledge of at least one programming language and the use of AWS SDKs (Python, Go, or )
  • Fluent command of German and English
