Safety Equipment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the FIA team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new safety standards and procedures. This will involve conducting research and literature reviews to ensure compliance with international technical standards.

Key Tasks:

  • Drafting safety standards and regulations
  • Supporting the assignment of new homologations
  • Preparing post-homologation tests and analyzing test reports
  • Providing data analysis and support for the Safety Equipment & Homologation group
  • Attending meetings and preparing meeting materials

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. You should also have a strong understanding of international technical standards and be proficient in CAD software. Experience with VBA coding and MATLAB would be an advantage, as would fluency in English and French.
