This position focuses on delivering psychological assistance to elderly residents and their families, fostering effective communication within the healthcare environment, contributing to personalized care strategies, engaging in diagnostic evaluations, and facilitating therapeutic programs.
Primary Duties:
- Offer psychological counseling through one-on-one sessions
- Improve interaction among residents, their families, and healthcare personnel
- Assist in the development of care strategies aimed at enhancing quality of life
- Engage in multidisciplinary discussions
- Conduct training sessions for staff on aging and cognitive disorders
- Lead therapeutic activities and workshops
- Recognize and address challenges related to residents and the institution
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Gerontology
- A minimum of 500 hours of relevant practical experience
- Prior experience in geriatric settings is advantageous
