Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Validation Engineer to join our Automotive Radar team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing validation benches, executing and reporting on IP measurements, and debugging silicon hardware and firmware.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain validation benches and measurement conditions to ensure high-quality IP delivery.
  • Implement automation for measurements benches to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Execute and report on IP measurements, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug silicon hardware and firmware, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Support the development of new measurement techniques and environments, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Work closely with junior team members to provide guidance and support, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a relevant industry, with a strong background in high-frequency measurements and lab instrument automation.
  • Expertise in embedded firmware development and a solid understanding of complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
