At our Lisses site in France, Hutchinson specializes in designing, industrializing, and selling anti-vibration products, structural elements, display and man-machine interface systems, and mechatronic systems catering to the aerospace, railway, and industrial markets.

Head of Engineering Department

As the Head of Engineering Department, you will be entrusted with overseeing technical work requests, ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, processes, and standards. Your role encompasses leading the development of new products and modifications to existing ones, guaranteeing that safety, quality, and efficiency objectives are consistently met.

  • Effectively organize, monitor, and control the implementation of technical work requests.
  • Manage the configuration management of technical documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactively monitor team capacity and workload, collaborating closely with internal clients for seamless work planning.
  • Continuously enhance team capabilities through targeted skills development initiatives and knowledge management strategies.

Your Profile:

  • Possess a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical product development, ideally within the aerospace industry.
  • Exhibit functional management experience and/or initial experience in hierarchical management.
  • Proficiency in English (TOEIC 750 or equivalent).
  • Additional experience in embedded product development, electronic circuit integration, and knowledge of materials such as Rubber and Silicone would be highly advantageous.
