We intervene on industrial and large-scale projects in the fields of energy, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, environment, construction, rail transport, and automotive.

We are currently looking for a Mechatronics and Robotics Engineer (F/M) for our client, a key player in the Energy sector.

Project Context:

Technical support and follow-up of the development of robotic solutions for surface control (grinding and visual inspection) in a nuclear environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Development phase of machines
  • Studies of details of different robots
  • Procurement and manufacturing of all parts constituting the robots, control stations, and accessories
  • Mechanical assembly of all equipment
  • Electrical wiring
  • Robot and control system testing, associated optimizations
  • Factory reception with the client

In the study phase and based on the detailed studies carried out by the manufacturers:

  • Preparation of the following technical deliverables
  • Specification of design procedures and tools
  • AMDEC (Product and Process)

Supporting the project manager, technical follow-up, and reporting of manufacturer progress (participation and animation if necessary of technical progress points with the manufacturer, realization of the reporting follow-up of actions)

  • Follow-up of physical progress in the manufacturer's fabrication and assembly workshops (grinding, cleaning, and HP cleaning)
  • Verification of the correct consideration of the client's REX by the Supplier
  • Continuous follow-up of progress (physical and documentary), upward and management of discrepancies in liaison with the client's technical team
  • Verification of the correct consideration of the client's quality requirements at the time of the service
  • Follow-up of physical progress in the manufacturer's fabrication and assembly workshops (profilometry, visual control)
Required Profile:

We are looking for:

  • Meatronics, Robotics, or Automation Engineer
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the concerned field
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Rigorous and methodical approach
  • Knowledge of welding and non-destructive testing
  • Ability to read plans and CAD
  • Complete mastery of the Office package
  • Good writing skills
  • Good mastery of English, particularly technical (German notions would be a plus)
  • Good communication skills
  • Proactive and ease of relationship
  • Driving license
  • International travel to be expected on different sites
