Akyl is seeking a dedicated Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) specializing in the healthcare industry to enhance its Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practice.

Your Role:

  • Full-time position with flexibility for remote work.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the external CISO for clients in the healthcare sector.
  • Oversee cyber projects, programs, or portfolios.
  • Conduct assessments of maturity and compliance.
  • Perform risk evaluations and manage remediation strategies.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Support clients in their compliance initiatives.

Your Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CISO within a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work independently and execute tasks effectively.
  • Strong technical and organizational IT knowledge.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST CSF, CIS, etc.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at navigating complex and unstructured challenges.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in business development opportunities.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as ISO 27K, CompTIA, CISSP, etc.
